The latest Basketball: Zero update has dropped, and it comes with a surprise twist: Chrollo and Tatlis are back—but this time they’ve buried the hatchet. Instead of clashing, the duo is back in style (literally), and fans can grab their looks until Monday. If you’ve been waiting to snag these, don’t sit on it too long.
Cosmetics are getting their share of love in this patch too. Players can now enjoy the “We Did It!” cutscene emote, a new cape cosmetic, and the Designer Card. With the devs heading off for a short break, this rotation will stick around for two weeks instead of the usual one. A nice bonus for anyone trying to stock up.
Gameplay-wise, there are some small but meaningful tweaks. A free spin burst has been added so players can test it out before buying, though its price has jumped to 149. The devs also started reworking ball physics for smoother and more consistent play—early changes now, with bigger improvements promised in the coming weeks.
On the rebalance front: Tendril Snatch can finally be countered by dribbling, and Gold’s defensive ability is back after a long wait. Meanwhile, more cutscenes have been fixed, optimizations were pushed to help performance (especially on weaker devices), and the overall feel of the game should be snappier.
One important note: the team is taking a short break from September 1–7 while attending RDC, so don’t expect a fresh patch next week. But hey, they’ve packed in enough here to keep players busy until they’re back.
Oh—and don’t forget, there are active codes for Basketball: Zero that you can redeem for extra goodies. Always worth checking before you log in.
What do you think of this update? Have the fixes and rebalances made a difference for you, or are you more hyped about the cosmetics? Let’s talk about it in the comments—I’d love to hear your take.
