Anime Last Stand just dropped Update 60, and it’s honestly one of the most jam-packed mini-updates we’ve seen in a while. From fresh units and rebalanced modes to a revamped questline for new players, this patch isn’t just tweaking a few things—it’s refreshing the entire experience.
Let’s start with the good stuff: 8 brand-new units are joining the roster. That includes 7 new characters (both evolution-ready and base forms), plus a brand-new Tournament-exclusive unit—the Toad Sage, who’s already turning heads. Alongside them, a new Story Stage and Legend Stage have been added, which means there’s more content to grind through if you’re looking to max out your lineup.
The devs clearly haven’t forgotten the newer players either. A new Starter Questline has been added, and it’s tailored to help you catch up if you’ve fallen behind or are just getting started. Completing chapters now nets you some serious perks—Starter Units, rerolls, Technique Vouchers, and more. Think of it like a fast pass to being relevant again.
Infinity Castle also got a serious makeover. Rooms are more compact, making it easier (and faster) to earn rewards. There’s a brand-new Infinity Castle Season and even a Sealed Capsule added to the mix. Not to mention, difficulty scaling, milestone rewards, and even pearl reward ranges have all been adjusted to feel more rewarding and less grindy.
Quality of Life (QoL) upgrades? They’re everywhere. Here’s a quick hit list:
- “Seamless Retry” is now Seamless Stages, with improved transitions across Story, Portals, Legends, and Castle.
- The Stat Reroll and Shop menus got a UI refresh—cleaner, simpler, more intuitive.
- You can now search for titles and reroll specific stats directly.
- Status effects now have clear tooltips, styled gradients, and easier-to-read descriptions.
- Unit XP from fusion is significantly buffed, and World 2 daily quests are now way more manageable.
And yes, Tournament mode is back with a new season—and the exclusive Toad Sage unit is definitely going to shake up strategies. The update also squashed some pesky bugs, especially in the Trials section where buttons weren’t showing rewards correctly.
