Jujutsu Infinite Drops Ancient Construction Update with Major Combat Revamp

The Ancient Construction update in Jujutsu Infinite adds fresh abilities, flying armor, and key fixes for smoother gameplay and combat balance.

Jujutsu Infinite just unleashed one of its most exciting updates yet — and it’s all about power, precision, and flying into battle like an armored beast. The new special grade innate, Ancient Construction, brings a high-stakes mix of offensive metal manipulation and next-level mobility, giving players a serious edge in both solo runs and PvP showdowns.

Let’s start with the flashy stuff:
Metal Barrage lets you rain down black liquid metal in front of you — yeah, even while flying. It’s blockable, but the sheer style is worth the cooldown. Then there’s Metal Rain, an area attack that pierces mobs from below. The cool part? Inside your domain, it fires off five times instead of just once. That’s some real anime energy right there.

Need to move? Metal Dash turns you into liquid metal and launches you in multiple directions — three outside of domain, five inside. It’s slick, fast, and insanely satisfying when you’re trying to dodge or chase down your enemy. Pair that with Metal Spikes, and you’ve got a guard-breaking move that erupts metal straight from the ground.

But the real show-stealer? Insect Armor Mode. Inspired by an ancient Heian sorcerer (lore nerds, you’re eating good), this armor lets you fly, tank hits, and dish out damage like a boss. Just double jump to take off — but fair warning, using non-Ancient Construction moves or flying too high will cancel your flight. It’s powerful but requires skill to master.

And then there’s Maximum True Sphere — probably the wildest part of this kit. It creates a flawless, high-pressure sphere that punishes anyone who gets close. Use it again and it blitzes straight toward you. You get three uses normally, five in your domain. Speaking of which, the domain — Threefold Affliction — is a total game-changer: double flight speed, full Metal Rain coverage, five Metal Dashes, and more True Spheres. It’s chaos, and it’s glorious.

On the backend, devs rolled out a bunch of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. From patching weird console issues and broken capture points, to tweaking how innate and taijutsu slots work — the update polishes the whole experience. Plus, they added anti-rush mechanics, making it impossible to rush or auto-target a player while they’re mid-combo. It’s a small change with big implications for future PvP modes.

Oh, and don’t forget — there are codes for the game, so keep an eye on those if you want some extra goodies.
