Volleyball Legends just dropped its Update 26, and this one’s packing more than just a fresh coat of paint. From a high-flying new character to some serious quality-of-life tweaks, this patch is worth a deep dive—literally.
Let’s start with the headline: Kazana, the new limited-time VBL Original character, is now live. This guy doesn’t just jump—he soars. With a rainbow-colored jump stat and a brand-new “hold to jump” mechanic, Kazana can leap twice as high as any other style. You can even toggle between an instant jump and the hold option depending on your playstyle. He’s only sticking around for two weeks, so if you want to dominate the air, grab him before he vanishes.
Another big change? Style names have been updated across the board. The devs made this move to avoid potential issues with external IPs—smart thinking if you ask me. Better safe than having your favorite style disappear, right?
There’s also a fresh set of win screen animations, with Kazana getting his own MVP moment. It’s flashy, it’s bold, and it’s a glimpse of what’s coming next. Expect more graphic animations to roll out in the following revisions.
On the gameplay side, dives got a welcome tune-up—especially if you’re playing with higher ping. Controls should now feel snappier and more responsive, which is a big win for anyone who’s ever missed a crucial save due to lag.
And if cosmetics are your thing? Check the new ball lineup in the lobby packs. Highlights include the Banana Ball, Cute Cat Ball, and the wild Paint Splash Ball—my personal favorite. The pack graphics also got a facelift, so yeah, they look as good as they feel to unlock.
Now, here’s the kicker: 2x Secret Pity Weekend is back, running from June 14 at 11:30 AM ET to June 16 at 11:30 AM ET. During the event, secret pity is halved from 200 to 100, and secret drop chances are doubled to 1%. This is the time to chase down those elusive styles and abilities you’ve been eyeing.
Oh, and don’t miss the Lucky Spin Handout—from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM ET, spins are handed out every 10 minutes, 12 in total. It’s like a mini lottery that just keeps giving.
There are also Volleyball Legends codes you can redeem in-game for rewards, so if you haven’t used those yet, now’s a great time to look them up.
What do you think of Kazana’s jump mechanic? Are you pulling during the 2x Secret Weekend? Let’s break it all down in the comments—maybe even drop a mini guide together.
