Pink Panther Update Brings New Moves, Remasters, and More to Azure Latch

The Pink Panther update brings Chigiri, Nagi's 5-stage volley, improved goalkeepers, and more. Here's everything you need to know.

Big changes just dropped in Azure Latch with the brand-new Pink Panther Update, and if you haven’t logged in lately, now’s the time. Whether you’re a longtime striker or just starting to figure out Flow mechanics, this patch has something for everyone. Let’s break it down.

New Character: Chigiri Hits the Field

Speed demon Chigiri is now live, complete with three base moves and a mix of Flow abilities—two standard Flow moves and two Flow Variants. If you’re into fast-paced playstyles and momentum-based skills, Chigiri might just be your new go-to. His movement feels fluid, and pulling off his combos mid-game adds a new layer of adrenaline to matches.

Major Reworks: Nagi, Gagamaru, and Kaiser

Nagi got a serious glow-up in this patch. The highlight? A slick five-stage fake volley chain. Land four fakes near the box within five seconds each and unlock a devastating final shot. It’s tricky to master, but incredibly satisfying when it lands. His new base move and improved Flow cutscene give him even more flair, and a few quality-of-life buffs—like removing endlag on successful fake volleys and a stronger “Nice to meet you, Japan” power—make him a solid pick for competitive players.

Gagamaru, the fan-favorite guardian, now has the ability to activate Flow even during another player’s Flow —a big shift for goal-side strategy, especially in intense matches with overlapping Flows.

And for Kaiser mains: brace yourself. The Impact Magnus move now comes with a longer windup, giving defenders a bit more breathing room before the hammer drops.

Gameplay & System Updates: Smoother, Smarter, and Sharper

The game map has been rolled back to the old layout (nostalgia, anyone?), and weather effects like rain and snow have had their blur toned down—finally. AI goalkeepers got a nice boost, and they’re feeling noticeably more responsive.

One of the most noticeable tweaks is how goalkeepers handle ult shots —instead of just eating the ball, they’ll now deflect it back into play. Add to that a small cooldown on GK dives, and we’re seeing a lot more dynamic scoring opportunities.

Also new:

  • Controller remapping (finally!)
  • Graphics presets —including a hilarious “Potato” mode for those trying to squeeze out every last frame
  • Lag from character afterimages has been reduced
  • New emotes and a limited-time MVP animation
  • Private server prices increased from 150 to 250

This update has both cool looks and deep changes, from new eye-catching moves to big tweaks in how things work. If you like trying out various heroes, you should really check out Chigiri. And if you love playing as Nagi, now is the best time to try his updated tools.

Oh—and game codes are out now, so be quick to grab them before they’re gone.
