Summer Harvest Just Dropped: Here’s Your Guide to the Grow a Garden Seeds

The Summer Harvest event is live! Here's what’s in the seed shop and how to get the exclusive Summer Seed Pack.

Let’s be honest—nothing gets a Grow a Garden player more hyped than a fresh seasonal drop. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve already been checking the Seed Shop compulsively, hoping to catch those sweet Summer Seed Packs before they disappear. Because yep, they’re only around during the Summer Harvest event, and once it’s gone… well, good luck waiting until next year.

So if you’re wondering what all the fuss is about—or just want to know which seeds are actually worth the grind—I’ve broken everything down for you here, with prices, sell values, and drop rates. Spoiler: some of these new additions are wildly valuable.

What’s New in the Seed Shop?

First off, a bit of a shake-up: Sam (the usual Seed Shopkeeper) is off on vacation, so the shop’s stock looks pretty different right now. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, because some of the limited-time seeds are absolutely worth hoarding if you can afford them.

Here’s a quick look at what’s in stock:

Divine Rarity

  • Loquat – Costs 900K Sheckles; sells for 7–8K
  • Feijoa – Costs 2.75M Sheckles; sells for 11.7–13K

Mythical Rarity

  • Prickly Pear – 555K Sheckles; sells for 6.3–7K
  • Kiwi – 10K Sheckles; sells for 2–2.7K
  • Pineapple – 7.5K Sheckles; sells for 1.8–2K
  • Bell Pepper – 55K Sheckles; sells for 4.9–5.5K

Legendary Rarity

  • Green Apple – 3.5K Sheckles; sells for 270–300
  • Avocado – 5K Sheckles; sells for 300–350
  • Banana – 7K Sheckles; sells for 1.5–1.7K

Rare Tier

  • Cauliflower – Just 1.3K Sheckles, sells for 30–40
(This one’s budget-friendly if you’re tight on Sheckles.)

What’s Inside a Summer Seed Pack?

Now here’s where it gets spicy. The Summer Seed Pack is a little like a loot box—with real in-game value. You can only get it while the Summer Harvest event is running, and the odds aren’t terrible (more on that below).

Here’s the breakdown of what you might pull from each pack:

  • Wild Carrot (40%) – Uncommon, single harvest, sells for 22–25K
  • Pear (25%) – Rare, multi-harvest, sells for 18–20K
  • Cantaloupe (20%) – Legendary, multi-harvest, sells for 30K
  • Parasol Flower (10%) – Mythical, single harvest, sells for 165–200K
  • Rosy Delight (4.5%) – Divine, multi-harvest, sells for 62–115K
  • Elephant Ears (0.5%) – Prismatic, multi-harvest, sells for 69–77K

Let me just say this: if you pull an Elephant Ears, you’ve basically hit the jackpot. It’s that rare, and that profitable.

How to Actually Get a Pack

During the Summer Harvest event, when your server reaches 2,000 points, you’ll get a 33% shot at getting a Summer Seed Pack. It’s not sure, but it’s very doable—especially if your server is busy and working hard.

Final Thoughts (and a Little Strategy)

Look, the economy in Grow a Garden can be a bit of a rollercoaster, and spending millions of Sheckles on Divine-tier seeds isn’t something most of us do lightly. But with the right picks—and a little luck from seed packs—you can make that money back and then some.

Personally, I’m going hard on Prickly Pears and hoarding Bell Peppers. The return isn’t sky-high, but the volume adds up fast. What about you? And don’t forget about the codes for Grow a Garden.

Have you pulled anything rare from a Summer Seed Pack yet? Got a seed strategy that’s working? Let’s talk in the comments—I’d love to hear how everyone’s doing this season.
