It means that you can avoid collisions with obstacles only if you start to turn or change the course beforehand, without approaching too close. Otherwise, your boat will crash very quickly.
The same applies to enemy ships – you will have to aim not at the point where they are now, but at the point where you expect them to be at the moment your projectiles reach them. It depends on the type of ship and the cannons on it. Of course, as the distance increases, these calculations are harder to make. That’s why you need to stay at the back of the team to practice aiming before you rush in to attack.
Use the backstroke
World of Warships Blitz has a reverse for ships, but it is better to use it for positioning, not for avoiding obstacles.
