Arena Battles, Peak Loot & a Total UI Overhaul — Hunters Update 0.5 Is Here

Dive into Hunters Update 0.5 with PvP arenas, Peak Legendaries, and a cleaner UI. Plus, new skills, cosmetics, and quality-of-life fixes.

Hunters just dropped its most ambitious update yet, and if you’ve been waiting for a reason to dive back in — this is it. Update 0.5 brings a bit of everything: heart-pounding PvP, high-tier loot that’ll make your current gear look like scrap, and a total inventory/UI overhaul that finally makes scrolling through your stash feel… well, human.

PvP Has Landed — Time to Duel

You can now jump into player-vs-player combat in a brand-new arena map designed just for this mode. Matches are simple but intense: both players get three lives, and the last one standing takes the glory (and bragging rights). No rewards yet — it’s more of a public playtest for now, but it’s a great way to flex your builds and see what you’re really made of. Oh, and yes, you can queue from private servers. The matchmaking pulls from all servers, so you won’t be waiting forever.

Cleaner UI, Smoother Inventory

The inventory got a much-needed facelift. It’s faster, easier to navigate, and doesn’t feel like a chore anymore. Especially handy now that there are more loot rarities to sort through. Everything’s just… snappier.

Vanity Index & Style Buffs

Ever wanted to preview all your vanity gear and see what bonuses they actually give? Now you can. The new Vanity Index lets you browse your collection and view buffs tied to each outfit — because looking good should come with perks.

Loot Just Hit a New Ceiling

Say hello to Peak Mythical and Peak Legendary — the new top dogs in Hunters’ loot hierarchy. You’ll need to unlock a special Scroll from the Spider Caverns (Nightmare mode) before they start dropping, so don’t expect a free ride. These items aren’t just rare — they’re game-changers.

Legendary Looks and Skills

The Arachnid Slayer Set is here, and it’s not just for show. Each weapon class gets a matching cosmetic to complete the look. But the real game-changer? New Peak Legendary Skills, one for each weapon class. Highlights include:

  • Ignis Fall (Magic): Fireballs rain from the sky, leave scorched earth, and then—boom—another eruption.
  • Mutilate (Daggers): A blur of blades and pure chaos. You won’t just hit enemies — you’ll erase them.
  • Skyfall Slam (Greatsword): Slam from the heavens with explosive force and a follow-up blast that sends enemies flying.
  • Whirlwind (Sword): Spin like you’ve lost it, then end with three brutal slashes that clear your space real fast.

Peak Mythical Sets

Three new armor sets await: Spectral, Seraph, and Astral Weave. These only drop after unlocking that Spider Caverns scroll, so get grinding. They’re not just cosmetic flexes — they’re powerful, too.

Quality of Life? Yeah, That Too

Tons of fixes and tweaks made it in. A few standouts:

  • Auto-equip your best gear? Yes, finally.
  • Accidentally sell your best item? Not anymore — you can now lock your loot.
  • Hide visual clutter (like VFX, armor, or even hair)? Yup.
  • Got dual daggers? There’s a custom stance for that now.
  • Oh, and console inventory bugs? Squashed.

Between the new skills, massive loot upgrades, and fresh PvP, this update really shakes things up. If you’ve been farming solo or just grinding dungeons, now’s the time to branch out and see how your build stacks up against other players. And if you’re into collecting cosmetics or min-maxing, there’s a ton to dig into here.

Also — quick tip — if you haven’t yet, check out the Hunters codes. They’re still active and can give you a boost while you explore all the new content.

Thinking of testing the new builds in PvP? Want to theorycraft some Peak skill combos? Let’s chat in the comments — maybe we’ll even put together a full guide if there’s interest.
