Thunder God Strikes: Jujutsu Infinite Update Drops Electrifying New Moveset & Ranked Reset

The Jujutsu Infinite update brings Thunder God, ranked overhaul, new rewards, and combat changes. Here's everything you need to know.

The latest Jujutsu Infinite update is here—and it’s a lightning storm of changes. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back in, now’s the time. This patch unleashes Thunder God, a brand-new special grade innate ability that turns your cursed energy into pure electric chaos, and resets the ranked system from top to bottom. Here’s the breakdown of what’s new and why it’s a game-changer.

Thunder God: Shock and Awe

At the heart of the update is the new special grade innate: Thunder God. This one’s for players who like their power fast, loud, and impossible to ignore.

  • Turn Up The Volume: Slam the ground with a shockwave that stuns nearby enemies and charges your Volume Meter. The more it builds, the faster you strike. If you toggle Dispel, your next blast is a lightning detonation that sends enemies flying.
  • Dispel: This one’s tactical. Fire off an electric orb that Electrifies enemies, reducing their block bar and amping up chip damage. And if you’re in Mythical Beast Amber mode, the orb becomes a roaring lightning surge.
  • Energized Spirit: Dash and strike at breakneck speed, building up your meter with every hit. Fully charged, the attack area becomes a shock field if Dispel is active.
  • Lightning Reflex: Dodge like you’re reading your opponent’s mind. React with a counter, or—if you’ve toggled Dispel—teleport straight to your target for a surprise strike.
  • Sonic Speed: Move faster than the eye can follow and leave enemies caught in a blitz of cursed lightning. In Amber mode, this morphs into a massive AOE thunderstorm.
  • Mythical Beast Amber: This is the final form. Your entire body channels cursed electricity, evolving all your moves into devastating, wide-area attacks.
  • Domain Expansion: Raijin: The battlefield itself becomes your weapon. Summon floating boulders and electrified storms, and anyone trapped inside gets hit with Super Electrified. Even the Dispel versions of your moves gain enhanced power here.

Honestly, it’s a wild ride—I’ve tried it out, and the sheer speed and sound of combat now feels completely different. If you’ve ever wanted to roleplay as the storm itself, this is your shot.

Ranked Reset & Matchmaking Overhaul

Now for the more competitive folks—ranked has been completely overhauled. Every player’s ELO has been recalibrated, with a 300-point reduction across the board, and a new cap at 400. Titles now reflect your new rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Infinite.

There’s also a fresh ranked matchmaking system, which starts you in a narrow ELO pool but expands the longer you’re in queue—so matches are faster and more balanced.

Oh, and new rewards? We’re talking 12 fresh titles, 2 armor sets, and a cosmetic hat that you’ll definitely want to flex in your next lobby.

Combat Tweaks & Endlag Changes

Ever felt like combat was just a bit too fast and chaotic? You weren’t alone. This patch introduces a baseline 0.1s endlag to most moves, making fights feel more deliberate and impactful. You can still pull off wild combos—but now it takes timing and skill.

Some standout changes:

  • Cleave now knocks back and stuns harder.
  • Red Transmission has a minimum travel time and sound cues.
  • Rush moves are now parryable—big shift in flow.
  • Domain buffs (like Iron Coffin) got serious firepower.
  • And damage adjustments across the board, like Knife Frenzy’s +33% damage boost and Wind Scythe’s guardbreaking buff.

The whole thing feels more polished now. The animations pop, and there’s finally a rhythm to fights that rewards clever play over frantic button-mashing.

If you haven’t jumped into Jujutsu Infinite lately, this is your wake-up call. Thunder God alone is worth experimenting with, and the ranked revamp gives everyone a clean slate to climb again. Plus, there are always those game codes floating around to help you get a head start.
