The latest Volleyball Legends update has landed, and it’s packing some serious heat. The highlight? A brand-new secret character, Jinko the Jester, who’s already making waves with his insane curve spike and curve serve mechanics. Available only until August 30 at 11:30 AM ET, Jinko might just be the most unpredictable player you’ll ever face on the court.
What makes him special? His rainbow stats and the ability to bend the ball in just about any direction. Tilt to curve left or right, or even pull off a sneaky backspin-style serve. And if you’re the kind of player who likes to outsmart opponents, his low-power/high-power serve mixups open up some wild, mind-game-heavy strategies. Same goes for spikes if you play around with the jumpset charge tech. Honestly, he feels like a total game-changer.
But that’s not all. The classic map got a visual upgrade—new city lights and decorations make it pop in a way that feels fresh yet familiar. It’s one of those little touches that makes you stop mid-match just to take in the view.
And for players chasing secrets, the devs are turning up the generosity dial with a 2x Secret Pity Weekend running from August 16, 2025 at 11:30 AM ET until August 18, 2025 at 11:30 AM ET. Secret pity is halved (200 → 100), and your chances for secret styles and abilities are doubled (0.5% → 1%). That’s a small window, but a massive opportunity.
On top of that, there’s a Lucky Spin Handout happening on August 16, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM ET. Every ten minutes you’ll get a chance to score free spins—12 in total. Basically, if you’ve been waiting to stack up new styles or abilities, this is the time.
Oh, and don’t forget—there are VL codes for the game floating around too, so keep an eye out for those if you want a head start.
So, what do you think? Is Jinko about to break the meta, or will his wild curve plays be too hard to master? Let’s hash it out in the comments—I’m curious how you all plan to use him.
